Building Friendship (A Lenten Reflection)

“Come now, let us set things right, says the Lord: Though your sins be like scarlet, they may become white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they may become white as wool” (Isaiah 1:18).

During my childhood days I never had a chance to write or make a Lenten reflection in my life but this time I will make this an exception and grab the opportunity to make a lenten reflection for the first time.

Today I realized that building a friendship with some kind of people is not just important but you can also count on them in times of emergency and it is important to ask for forgiveness to them especially when you hurt or when you are being mean to them at first.

For me being close to someone special that is close to me takes time to adjust, to accept and etc.And I thank God  for giving me an opportunity to write a loveletter and asking for forgiveness to someone special in my life that turned out to be our neighbor as well for the wrong things I had done to her or to them before during our first transfer here at Avida village Talisay City Negros Occidental.

I have also come to realize that the people who are close you and to your heart can also be part of your life and a journey as a person.

And we all have that realizations in heart that comes up to your mind that makes you also realize that asking for forgiveness and allowing those people to become part of your life.

In this Lenten season I realized that making a friendship is not just important to your life but you can also give a value to it like accepting and allowing those people who are close to you to become part of your life and treating them like a family as well no matter she or he is your neighborhood or not still you will treat them equally and allowing them to be part of your life.
